Standard Practice for Visual Color Evaluation of Transparent Sheet Materials


This practice was developed to help its users critically judge the transmitted color appearance of transparent sheet materials. Its primary application is for colored flat glass and plastic materials. 1.2 This practice is not meant to be used to evaluate colors of curved, diffusing, self-luminous, or opaque materials. 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
