This International Standard provides a method to demonstrate the capability of a manufacturer to produce products of the specified quality. It defines specific quality requirements but does not assign those requirements to any specific product group. It is appropriate when demonstration of a manufacturer's capability to produce welded constructions, fulfilling specified quality requirements, is required.
