Ropes -- Determination of certain physical and mechanical properties

Specifies, for ropes of different kinds, a method of determining each of the following characteristics: net mass per metre; lay; elongation; tensile strength. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (1972) and ISO 1142:1973.
