Fat and oil derivates - Fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) - Determination of acid value

This document establishes a titrimetric method for determining the acidity of low-coloured fatty acid methyl esters, hereinafter referred to as FAME. It allows the determination of the acidity in the range of 0.10 mg KOH/g to 1.00 mg KOH/g.
