Dentistry - Operating lights (ISO 9680:2021)
This document determines requirements and test methods for treatment lights that are used in the dental practice and which are intended to illuminate the oral cavity of the patient. It also contains stipulations on the instructions for use, labeling and packaging. This document is to be used for all treatment lights, regardless of the technology of the light source. This document cannot be applied for additional light sources, for example from dental handpieces and dental headlamps and also not for treatment lights that are specially intended for use in jaw surgery.
