Steel, Corrosion and Heat Resistant, Seamless or Welded Hydraulic Tubing 18.5Cr 10.5Ni 0.40Ti (SAE 30321) Solution Heat Treated ( Reaffirmed: Apr 2007 )
This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant steel in the form of two types of drawn tubing. This tubing has been used typically for parts requiring both corrosion and heat resistance, especially when such parts are welded during fabrication, but usage is not limited to such application. The alloy provides oxidation resistance up to 1500 \mDF (816 \mDC) but is useful at that temperature only when stresses are low.
